Hitachi Energy Australia Pty Ltd in Brisbane seeks a Technical Sales professional to support and deploy applications that improve MV/HV grid reliability. You will apply your technical skills to support the Bay Level Products and Solutions within the Hitachi Energy Grid Automation portfolio in Australia and APAC.

As a Protection and Control IED Specialist, you’ll provide applications support to customers to automate, protect and control critical electrical infrastructure and power systems.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5-10 years of experience in technical sales, presales, or a relevant engineering role, preferably in the Utility sector.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Aufgaben

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories and target accounts.
• Conduct in-depth technical presentations and demonstrations of Hitachi Energy’s Protection and Control products and solutions to prospective and existing clients.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their business challenges and technical requirements, then propose tailored Hitachi Energy solutions.
• Provide technical leadership for Sales teams during customer meetings, product presentations and negotiations
• Supports bid/no bid analyses and decisions. Participates in project risk review processes
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decisionmakers and technical contacts.
• Work closely with internal engineering, product development, and support teams to ensure customer application requirements are captured and satisfied
• Stay up to date with industry trends, competitive landscapes, and Hitachi Energy’s evolving product portfolio.
• Offers product and application related trainings for customer accounts and internal teams
• Provide market feedback to product management and engineering teams for future product enhancements and development.
• Participate in industry trade shows, conferences, and other marketing events as a Hitachi representative.
