Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or equivalent.
• 3–5+ years in technical sales or applications engineering.
• Experience selling into industrial automation, robotics, or medical devices OEMs.
• Strong knowledge of brushed/BLDC DC motors, gearboxes, encoders, and motor/motion controllers.
• Excellent negotiation and relationship-management skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to manage field travel.

Responsibilities

• Technical Scoping: Define mechanical and electrical specs (torque, speed, voltage, duty cycle, IP rating, enviro requirements).
• Bespoke Product Design: Configure custom motor solutions with OEM teams.
• Product Selection: Advise on brushed vs brushless DC motors and matching gearboxes/encoders/controllers.
• Business Development: Target/win design wins with industrial automation OEMs and robotics/AMR players.
• Pipeline & Account Management: Grow existing motor and motion control accounts; identify upsell opportunities.
• Tendering & Quoting: Prepare technical proposals and tender responses.
