Job summary

ACRUX Search Pty Ltd in Brisbane is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to blend engineering know-how with commercial drive. You will generate new opportunities and build lasting client relationships across the electrical drives, motors and automation sectors.

This is a role for a technically capable, ambitious professional who can translate customer needs into tailored solutions, win new business and help shape the future direction of the company from Brisbane.

Qualifications

Electrical or automation engineering background or relevant industry knowledge.
Proven ability to generate new business and actively pursue and convert opportunities.
Strong lead generation ability with solid closing skills.
Practical commissioning experience.
Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored technical solutions.
Strong communication, relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Entrepreneurial, commercially minded and autonomous working style.

Responsibilities

Generate new business while strengthening relationships with existing customers in Brisbane.
Identify opportunities and convert technical knowledge into commercial wins.
Engage with engineers, maintenance teams, project managers and senior decision-makers to close deals.
