  • Demonstrated experience in maintenance, repair, and testing of electronic equipment.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with outstanding commitment to customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain, support, and lifecycle-manage critical medical equipment across hospital and community sites.
  • Collaborate with clinicians, technical specialists, and operations teams to ensure safe patient care.
  • Assist in technology and infrastructure initiatives and participate in on-call, after-hours, and site-based support.

Selection Criteria

  • Bachelor’s degree in biomedical or electrical engineering recognised by Engineers Australia OR Advanced Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Demonstrated experience in the maintenance, repair, and testing of electronic equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to problem solve, seek solutions and apply your technical knowledge to resolve presenting issues.
  • Well-developed interpersonal and negotiation skills with an outstanding commitment to excellent customer service who can work independently and as a team member.

Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
