Job summary

RoadTek is seeking a Technical Manager ITS & E to develop and deliver technical training programs across Queensland, assessing workforce skills and ensuring safety and competency for electrical field staff.

You will identify training needs, develop modules, facilitate sessions, evaluate outcomes, support electrical apprentices, manage schedules, and oversee Safe Systems of Work governance, hazard/risk identification, and statewide working groups.

Qualifications

• Electrical Licence or other qualification acceptable to the Director-General.
• White or Blue Card and a valid Queensland C class driver licence.
• Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment desirable.
• Authorised Persons Accreditation and ACMA accreditation desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver technical training programs for RoadTek electrical staff.
• Identify training needs and develop modules and resources.
• Facilitate training sessions and evaluate outcomes.
• Provide training to electrical apprentices and manage schedules.
• Oversee Safe Systems of Work development and governance.
• Chair statewide working groups and provide ITS & Electrical advice.
