Nine is seeking a Hands-on Technical Lead to drive the Streaming frontend development for Connected TV Web. You will balance team leadership with direct code contributions and champion growth and well-being of engineers.
The role requires 5+ years in software development, experience with scalable RESTful architectures, Agile/DevOps, and cross-platform TV/web delivery, plus a passion for AI tooling and coaching engineering teams toward excellence.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software development with leadership experience.
- Strong RESTful API design and scalable architecture.
- Deep understanding of Agile/Lean practices and CI/CD.
- Practical experience with AI tools to boost velocity.
- Track record delivering high-scale media applications.
Responsibilities
- Build and architect high-availability TV Web applications.
- Drive AI tooling adoption to streamline development workflows.
- Uphold coding standards, reviews, test automation, and CI/CD.
- Lead R&D into emerging tech and guide rollout & measurement.
- Coach engineers, manage performance, and hiring.
- Facilitate agile delivery and remove blockers.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers and partners.
- Translate tech roadmap into clear business value.
