Job summary

Elysium Digital is seeking anexperienced Technical Lead in Canberra to drive a major application modernisation and cloud transformation. The role combines hands-on software development with leadership, mentoring and architectural guidance to deliver secure, cloud-first solutions.

You will modernise legacy systems, uplift engineering practices, and collaborate with delivery stakeholders to manage risks and dependencies while promoting automated, secure deployment practices.

Qualifications

• NV1 Security Clearance as a minimum.
• Extensive experience developing applications using C# .NET and ASP.NET Core.
• Experience delivering modern web applications using Angular and/or React.
• Strong SQL Server development, optimisation and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Experience building and deploying applications within Microsoft Azure.
• Proven experience providing technical leadership within agile delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day technical leadership while remaining actively involved in software development.
• Mentor and coach development team members to improve engineering practices.
• Lead application modernisation and cloud migration initiatives.
• Collaborate with architects to translate designs into practical implementations.
• Drive technical decision-making and ensure secure, scalable solutions.
