Job summary

PurePlay Cloud in Australia is looking for a Lead Cloud Engineer to drive complex modernisation initiatives and lead technical teams delivering transformative cloud solutions. In this role, you'll architect enterprise-scale solutions, mentor engineering teams, and leverage AI to accelerate modernisation efforts.

Qualifications

8+ years in cloud engineering with 3+ years in leadership.
Proven experience leading enterprise cloud migrations.
Expertise with AWS adoption, migration and modernisation.
Strong IaC and CI/CD experience.
Knowledge of AWS MAP.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
AWS certifications preferred.
Willing to upskill and obtain certifications.

Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery of cloud transformation programs with hands-on architecture and strategic guidance.
Architect enterprise-scale AWS environments using IaC, CI/CD, and security controls.
Mentor engineering teams and lead modernisation initiatives.
Design landing zones, security architectures and advanced networking.
Support pre-sales, RFPs and statements of work.
