Job summary

Talent International - Greater Geelong VIC is seeking an Application Development Lead with strong Appian experience to guide solution development and oversee delivery partners in building a scalable enterprise platform.

You will provide technical leadership for the Appian pilot, review designs, define standards, and govern integrations with ERP systems while ensuring security, performance, and reliability of the platform.

Qualifications

• 7+ years Appian development experience.
• Strong skills across process models, SAIL interfaces, records, CDTs, expression rules and data management.
• Experience building Appian integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and connected systems.

Responsibilities

Your Appian skills are the priority. You'll draw on your experience designing and delivering Appian applications to guide solution development, oversee delivery partners and help build a scalable enterprise platform.

Key activities

• Provide technical leadership for the Appian pilot and future platform initiatives.
• Review Appian solution designs and vendor deliverables, ensuring quality and alignment with best practices.
• Define Appian architecture standards and reusable design patterns.
• Guide integrations with enterprise applications, APIs and data services.
• Ensure solutions meet security, performance, scalability and support requirements.
• Work with business and technology stakeholders to resolve technical issues and manage delivery risks.
• Guide deployment and release practices, while supporting knowledge transfer to internal teams.

Strong Appian expertise is essential, including:

• Extensive hands-on experience designing and developing enterprise Appian applications, ideally 7+ years.
• Strong skills across process models, SAIL interfaces, records, CDTs, expression rules and data management.
• Experience building Appian integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and connected systems.
• The ability to review Appian designs, troubleshoot complex issues and guide sound technical decisions.
• Experience working in a senior or lead Appian development capacity.

Appian Lead Developer certification, vendor oversight, platform governance, CI/CD and experience delivering pilots or new platform implementations would be an advantage.
