Job summary

Deloitte Services Pty Ltd is seeking a Lead Appian Developer to design and deliver scalable Appian solutions for major transformation programs. You will guide solution architecture, lead delivery teams, and collaborate with client stakeholders across platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, and Azure.

The role emphasizes secure, modular architecture, DevOps practices, and building long-term value while mentoring colleagues and expanding Deloitte's Appian capabilities across industries.

Qualifications

• Experience leading the architecture and design of Appian solutions in client-facing environments.
• Strong knowledge of Appian components including process design, SAIL, rules, security, and integrations.
• Experience across enterprise application delivery, including configuration, development, deployment and testing in Agile environments.
• Knowledge of integration patterns across platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics 365, APIs and Azure.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, data management, and database design including performance considerations.
• Ability to design secure, scalable solutions and remove technical impediments across complex engagements.
• Confidence communicating technical concepts and solution designs with a range of client and internal stakeholders.
• Experience leading multiple engagements, mentoring others, and building strong working relationships.

Step into a lead developer opportunity in our Technology & Transformation team based along the east coast, where you'll lead the design and delivery of Appian solutions that solve complex business and technology challenges.

What will your typical day look like?

From solution design through to implementation, you'll help clients build secure, scalable Appian applications that improve how work gets done. That includes shaping architecture, guiding delivery teams, and making sure solutions integrate effectively across platforms such as Salesforce, Oracle, SAP, Dynamics 365 and cloud environments like Azure.

Your work will help organisations modernise enterprise processes, remove technical roadblocks, and make better use of automation at scale. Along the way, you'll bring a strong lens on security, modular architecture, version control, configuration management and DevOps practices to deliver solutions that are practical, resilient and built for long-term value.

Working closely with partners, specialists and client stakeholders, you'll balance strategic thinking with hands‑on technical leadership. The role offers variety across industries and engagements, with plenty of room to build trusted relationships, mentor others, and deepen your impact as part of Deloitte's Australian Appian Practice.

About the team

Our T&T Ops, Industry & Domain Solutions team works with some of Deloitte's largest clients across Australia to design and deliver technology solutions that support business transformation. Within the broader Technology & Transformation business, the Appian practice brings together deep platform expertise, strong product thinking, and a sharp focus on solving real client problems through scalable enterprise process automation.
