Job summary

EML Group in Sydney is seeking a Technical & Injury Management Specialist to support our NSW hospitality industry insurance (HII) team and apply technical workers’ compensation expertise to guide claims and injury management initiatives.

This permanent, full-time role offers hybrid work with up to 2 days from home per week, plus opportunities for coaching, stakeholder engagement and impact for workers and employers in a specialist organisation.

Qualifications

• Strong technical experience within the NSW workers compensation scheme.
• Experience in injury management within a fast-paced workers compensation environment.
• Strong claims management experience, particularly with long-term and litigated claims.
• Knowledge of work capacity and treatment approvals.
• Experience coaching, mentoring or providing technical support to others.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and provide practical, considered advice.

Responsibilities

We’re now welcoming applications for Technical & Injury Management Specialist to join our supportive, purpose-driven team in Sydney on a permanent, full-time basis, with flexibility to work from home up to 2 days per week.

You’ll join our Hospitality Industry Insurance (HII) business, providing industry-specific workers compensation insurance to more than 1,600 accommodation hotels, pubs and clubs across NSW. In this specialist role, you’ll use your technical workers compensation and injury management expertise to support claims teams, manage complex scenarios and help deliver positive outcomes for workers and employers.

What You’ll Be Doing
