Job summary

Brickworks Building Products is seeking an experienced Technical Engineer in NSW to lead technical delivery for new product introductions, ensure compliance with NCC and Australian standards, and provide expert guidance across product development, QA and continuous improvement.

You will collaborate with international manufacturing partners and internal teams to deliver innovative, compliant and customer-focused solutions.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline with experience in building products/construction industry.
Knowledge of product development, QA, testing, compliance and CI processes.
Ability to interpret technical drawings, specs and compliance requirements and communicate complex info.

Responsibilities

Lead technical delivery of new product introductions and engineering assessments.
Manage product certification, approvals and compliance activities.
Provide technical leadership and advice to internal stakeholders, customers and partners.
Investigate complex product quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Develop and improve technical standards, specifications, procedures, documentation and processes.
Build technical capability through training and mentoring of sales teams and customers.
Guide sales and business development to drive project specifications.
Contribute to product growth and strategic initiatives with market insight.
