Job summary

Marsh in Melbourne is seeking a talented claims professional to join the JLT Public Sector team. This full-time hybrid role requires three days in the office weekly and focuses on technical claims advice across high-value liability matters.

You will coordinate activity, liaise with insurers, loss adjusters, solicitors, and clients, interpret policy wording, and ensure accurate records and timely settlements.

Qualifications

• Law degree required.
• Experience in managing complex liability claims including public liability and professional indemnity matters.
• Knowledge of liability frameworks and common law principles.
• Experience engaging with clients, legal counsels, and industry partners.
• Ability to analyse claims data, recognise patterns and produce actionable reports.
• Proactive approach with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes.

We are seeking a talented individual to join our JLT Public Sector team, part of our risk business at Marsh. This role will be based in Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

In this role you will provide technical claims advice, coordinate claim activity, and help clients navigate the claims process with confidence.
