Job summary

Mutual Trust is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology within our Technology Solutions & Data team. You’ll translate requirements into stories, participate in design, testing and implementation, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver practical solutions.

You’ll work alongside experienced analysts and tech professionals to build capability in business analysis, systems design, and technology delivery across the firm.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for a curious and highly structured Technical Business Analyst to join our Technology Solutions & Data team.

This is a hands‑on role sitting between the business and technology. You’ll work with people across the firm to understand what they need, get to the heart of the problem and translate those needs into requirements that can be designed, built and implemented successfully.

You don’t need to be a developer or already know every system. What matters more is your ability to think logically, understand how systems work, ask good questions and learn quickly.

You’ll work alongside experienced Business Analysts and technology professionals, giving you the opportunity to build strong capability across business analysis, systems design, process improvement and technology delivery.

What You’ll Do

• Work with stakeholders to understand business problems, processes and requirements
• Map current and future-state processes and identify what needs to change

The role covers the full journey from understanding the problem through to requirements, design and testing.

About You

You may already have some Business Analyst experience, or you may be a recent graduate looking to build a career in technology. Either way, you’ll be someone who enjoys solving problems, understanding how things work and turning ideas into practical solutions.

A background or qualification in IT, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline would be highly regarded, as would experience in business analysis, technology projects or IT consulting.
