Royal Automobile Club of Queensland is seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology, working with cross-functional product teams to understand challenges and document requirements that drive value for members and stakeholders.

You will translate business needs into user stories, support test planning, and help ensure solutions align with goals while improving processes and customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, systems analysis and requirements management within complex environments.
• Ability to elicit, document and manage business, functional and technical requirements.
• Experience analysing business processes for improvement and operational efficiency.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex business and technology challenges.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication to build consensus across groups.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to understand, analyse and document business requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews and discovery sessions to identify business needs and improvement opportunities.
• Translate complex business requirements into clear user stories, functional specifications and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse business processes, systems and data flows to identify opportunities for efficiency and innovation.
• Support solution design, delivery and implementation by providing analysis and requirements expertise throughout the product lifecycle.
• Develop and execute test scenarios, coordinate user acceptance testing and validate solutions against business outcomes.
• Maintain traceability between business objectives, requirements and delivered solutions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance customer experiences and operational performance.
