Job summary

Gridsight is hiring a Technical Business Analyst to onboard customer data and ensure rapid value from the analytics platform. You’ll work directly with utility clients to define required data, validate incoming data, and feed it into the system through our workflows.

The role blends customer interaction with hands-on data work, requiring strong SQL skills, effective stakeholder communication, and an ability to operate in ambiguous environments. Remote-first with Sydney head office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional experience in technical business analyst roles or similar, involving technical and stakeholder-facing work.
• Experience using SQL to analyse and validate datasets.
• Experience in customer-facing or consulting-style roles with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own data integration with customers and ensure value from Gridsight platform.
• Work with utility customers to specify data needs and data formats, and review data they provide.
• Onboard customer data into the platform using Gridsight tooling and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to automate manual steps and improve data validation and onboarding processes.
• Drive customer data deliveries to completion and maintain momentum through implementation.
• Manage complex customer situations with shifting priorities and incomplete data.
• Collaborate to improve internal tooling and data pipelines for efficiency.
