Gridsight is hiring a Technical Business Analyst to onboard customer data and ensure rapid value from the analytics platform. You’ll work directly with utility clients to define required data, validate incoming data, and feed it into the system through our workflows.
The role blends customer interaction with hands-on data work, requiring strong SQL skills, effective stakeholder communication, and an ability to operate in ambiguous environments. Remote-first with Sydney head office.
Electricity grids are undergoing the most significant transformation in a century. The shift to renewables, the proliferation of rooftop solar, batteries, and EVs, and the increasing complexity of distribution networks are forcing utilities to operate their grids in fundamentally new ways.
Gridsight builds the analytics platform that makes this possible. We're already embedded with most of Australia's major distribution networks and have contracts with some of the largest investor-owned utilities in the United States. We're well-funded, growing quickly, and positioned at the centre of a global shift toward dynamic grid management.
Locations: Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Adelaide, Hobart, Australia Remote
Our Technical Business Analysts own data integration with our customers, ensuring they get value from Gridsight's platform quickly and seamlessly.
This is equal parts customer-facing and technical. You'll work directly with utility customers to help them understand what data we need, review what they send, give feedback on issues, and get it into the platform. You'll spend roughly half your time in conversations with customers and half heads-down wrangling data, and configuring the system.
