Job summary

RSL LifeCare in North Sydney seeks an experienced Manager Planning & Portfolio to lead portfolio planning, demand management and governance across the Technology function. Reporting to the General Manager Business Process & Delivery, you will guide delivery, drive reporting and stakeholder engagement with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Project Management, Business, IT or related discipline.
• Professional certification in PM/Portfolio management (PRINCE2, PMP, MSP, P3O, SAFe or similar).
• Experience leading a PMO or portfolio management office.
• Experience with portfolio planning, demand management, governance, resource management and portfolio reporting.
• Experience providing executive-level reporting on portfolio performance, risks, resource utilisation and benefits realisation.
• Experience in aged care, healthcare or complex multi-site environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead portfolio planning, prioritisation and demand management across the Technology function.
• Maintain an integrated view of technology initiatives including delivery timelines and investment outcomes.
• Establish and maintain project and portfolio governance frameworks and controls.
• Ensure projects are properly scoped and delivery-ready before execution.
• Provide consolidated reporting on portfolio performance, risks and benefits realisation.
• Support executive forums with insights for informed decisions.
• Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing PMO team.
• Allocate resources to balance priorities and delivery capacity.
• Directly manage key projects and initiatives as required.
• Drive continuous improvement in PMO practices and governance.
• Manage vendor-delivered initiatives and third-party partners.
