Job summary

Gentu, Magentus’ cloud platform, powers thousands of clinicians; we’re looking for a Tech Lead to elevate the team, guide decision-making, and shape how software is built and quality is maintained at scale.

You’ll apply your senior engineering experience across Ruby on Rails, Node.js, TypeScript, React and AWS, partnering with Product and Design to deliver impact for Australia’s healthcare, while mentoring peers and embracing AI-enabled development.

Qualifications

Experience as a Senior Engineer or Tech Lead.
Ability to lead without always having all answers and enable better decisions.
Curious and hands-on with emerging tools, particularly AI.
Strong collaboration across Engineering, Product, and Delivery.

Responsibilities

Guide technical decision-making to ensure the right calls are made at the right time.
Improve how the team designs, builds, tests, and delivers software.
Lead the use of agentic AI tools in development workflows.
Partner with Product and Design to align on priorities and solutions.
Maintain system health across performance, reliability, security, and technical debt.
Identify risks early and make them visible before they escalate.
