Job summary

Jigsaw Talent Management is seeking a Category Lead - Technology in Melbourne CBD. You will own a high-profile technology portfolio spanning software, hardware and services, driving strategic procurement under a new CPO.

Qualifications

• Strong Technology procurement background: category management, strategic sourcing, SOWs and contract negotiation.
• Sharp commercial judgement and the presence to influence senior stakeholders.
• Energy, utilities, resources or heavy industry experience and SAP/Ariba exposure highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Own Technology spend categories, from category plans and sourcing strategy to negotiation and contract
• Lead complex, high-value sourcing events and supplier negotiations from start to finish
• Be the trusted commercial adviser to senior stakeholders, using spend data and market insight to drive value and manage risk
• Build commercial capability and governance across the procurement team
