Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking a Category Manager – IT to lead category management and strategic sourcing for technology expenditure. You will provide commercial guidance, drive IT sourcing and negotiations, and manage supplier performance to improve value and reduce risk.

Working with Technology and business stakeholders, you will shape IT category strategies and lead end-to-end sourcing for software, hardware, telecoms and technology services across NSW, WA, VIC and SA with flexible work

Qualifications

Qualification in procurement, supply chain, business, commerce, finance or equivalent.
Experience in IT category management and strategic sourcing.
Experience negotiating IT software licensing, cloud services and vendor agreements.
Strong commercial and contract management capability.
Ability to interpret IT expenditure and translate analysis into recommendations.
Stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
Willingness to travel interstate and hold an Australian driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

Lead IT sourcing and category management across technology expenditure.
Develop IT category strategies and end‑to‑end sourcing across software, hardware, telecoms and services.
Manage strategic technology suppliers and monitor KPIs and contractual commitments.
Identify savings, efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities.
