Job summary

BaptistCare NSW & ACT is seeking an experienced Category Manager – IT to lead category management and strategic sourcing across technology expenditure. You will partner with Technology teams and stakeholders to shape IT sourcing strategies, drive negotiations, and manage supplier performance.

The national role covers software, hardware, cloud and services, with flexible work options across NSW, WA, VIC or SA and occasional interstate travel to deliver value, service and risk improvements.

Qualifications

• Experience in category management and strategic sourcing for IT
• Strong knowledge of IT commercial models (software licensing, cloud, managed services)
• Proven ability to negotiate and manage supplier performance
• Ability to translate IT expenditure and market data into actionable recommendations

Responsibilities

• Lead IT category management and end-to-end sourcing
• Provide commercial advice and lead complex technology negotiations
• Manage supplier performance, contracts and KPI delivery
• Develop IT category strategies across software, hardware, cloud and services
• Collaborate with Technology teams and stakeholders to realise value and mitigate risk
