Job summary

Jigsaw Talent Management is seeking an IT category specialist to lead a roughly $75m technology spend for a listed FMCG business across Australia and New Zealand. The role is Melbourne/hybrid, initially 6 months with a path to permanent and starts within two weeks.

You will report to the Head of Procurement and centralise commercial leverage and visibility without owning day-to-day IT operations. Strong IT procurement depth is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT procurement or category management experience.
• Track record negotiating software, SaaS, cloud and managed services agreements.
• Strong financial skills, including benefits baselining and realisation.
• Ability turning ERP and invoice data into commercial insight.
• Comfort influencing in a multi-entity business where you don’t control every lever.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the IT category strategy across software, cloud, hardware, telco and managed services
• Lead sourcing and negotiations with suppliers over $250k
• Drive licence optimisation, supplier consolidation and rate harmonisation
• Set up invoice assurance and leakage controls
• Build business cases and a single benefits register with Finance
