Job summary

Infosys Limited is seeking a highly analytical Technical Business Analyst in Sydney to bridge business stakeholders and technology teams. You will gather, analyze, and document requirements, translate them into user stories and specs, and support agile delivery with testing and stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
• Strong logical thinking and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience in writing clear, structured documentation (e.g., user stories, use cases, BRDs).
• Comfortable with process mapping tools (e.g., Griffy, Visio).
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document requirements.
• Break down large, ambiguous problems into smaller, well-defined tasks or use cases.
• Create process flows, user stories, functional specifications, and other artifacts.
• Translate business needs into logical, structured, and actionable requirements.
• Work closely with developers, testers, and UX/UI teams to ensure accurate implementation.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and brainstorming sessions to uncover root causes.
• Perform gap analysis, impact assessments, and data analysis as needed.
• Support UAT by preparing test cases and validating deliverables.
• Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Role Description:

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Technical Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. The ideal candidate will gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements, translate them into actionable user stories and functional specifications, and support the successful delivery of technology solutions. This role requires strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills, along with experience working in Agile delivery environments and collaborating with development, testing, and product teams.

Salary:

AUD 108571 - 119893 Annual Gross.

Key responsibilities

• Experience in writing clear, structured documentation (e.g., user stories, use cases, BRDs).
• Comfortable with process mapping tools (e.g., Griffy, Visio).
• Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to low-code platforms (e.g., Appian, Pega, Power Platform).
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of SQL or data analysis tools.
• Certifications like CBAP, CCBA, or Agile BA are a plus.
