Job summary

Return-It in Australia is seeking a Casual Team Member to deliver outstanding customer service and help customers sort recyclable products for the correct refund. You will assist at fully staffed depots and Express collection points, ensure safety procedures are followed, and look for ways to improve efficiency while making customers feel welcome and valued.

We welcome applicants with prior customer service, hospitality, or retail experience and a can-do attitude focused on the customer

• Deliver outstanding customer service to our customers.
• Sort recyclable items into their correct categories.
• Transport items to the relevant storage area (forklift or manual handling).
• Ensure customers are welcomed and assisted with their recycling products to inspire return customers.
• Ensure staff adhere to health and safety procedures and highlight hazards/faults/risks.
• Continuously look for opportunities to improve efficiency and increase customer satisfaction.
• Ensure staff have the skills and training to work safely and efficiently.

Convenient locations plus new technology enables a seamless recycling experience both at fully staffed depots and Express collection points.

AsCasual Team Memberyou will provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers sort their recyclable products and providing them with the correct refund.

Your responsibilities will include:

Delivering outstanding customer service to our customers!

Sorting recyclable items into their correct categories

Transporting items to the relevant storage area. This may be via forklift or manual handling.

Ensure customers welcomed and assisted with their recycling products to inspire return customers

Ensure staff are adhering to all health and safety procedures and highlighting any hazards/faults/risks

Continuously looking for opportunities to improve efficiency and increasing customer satisfaction

Ensure that staff have the skills and training to work safely and efficiently.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

Previous customer service, hospitality, or retail experience

You have a great 'can do' attitude with customer service at the forefront of all interactions
