Job summary

Cleanaway in Taminda is offering a weekend-only casual role to help turn returned containers into a cleaner, more sustainable future. You’ll be hands-on, loading and unloading containers and transporting materials to recycling facilities while enjoying flexible weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• A current HR licence with runs on the board.
• Willingness to complete pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload containers safely and efficiently.
• Transport materials to recycling facilities as required.
• Drive and operate a rear lift collection vehicle safely and confidently.
• Run daily pre-start and maintenance checks.
• Provide professional customer interactions and maintain safety protocols.

The Role

You’ll play a hands‑on role in loading and unloading containers and transporting materials to recycling facilities.

With weekdays free and consistent weekend work, this is a great opportunity for someone looking to earn extra income while being part of a team doing work that matters.

You'll:

• Drive and operate a rear lift collection vehicle safely and confidently
• Run daily pre-start and maintenance checks like a pro
• Deliver loads to recycling and disposal facilities on time, every time
• Bring energy and professionalism to every customer interaction
• Stay sharp on fatigue management and safety protocols
• Get hands‑on - this is an active, on-your-feet role
