Job summary

Social Futures seeks a Team Leader for Specialist Homelessness Services – Women’s Domestic & Family Violence to join our team in Tweed Heads, Lismore or Ballina on a Full-time Fixed Term basis. You will lead frontline program worker teams, oversee day-to-day operations and coach staff to ensure safe, trauma-informed services.

Qualifications

  • Qualifications in social work, human services or psychology. Registration or eligibility for registration in the relevant field.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience within domestic and family violence, homelessness or refuge services
  • Excellent communication, leadership and people-management skills
  • Understanding of the ongoing impacts of colonisation, intergenerational trauma and systemic disadvantage including factors impacting families
  • A commitment to culturally safe, strengths based and trauma-informed practice

Responsibilities

  • Lead, support and supervise frontline program worker teams including qualified counsellors
