Job summary

ITEC Group Australia is seeking a Team Leader - SIL and CA to oversee person-centred care in SIL homes and Community Access services in Cairns. You will supervise Disability Support Workers, manage rostering and documentation, and ensure compliance with SCHADS Award and NDIS Practice Standards.

This role combines frontline care with administration and stakeholder engagement, supporting participant wellbeing, onboarding new participants, and building strong relationships with families and allied

Qualifications

Experience in a similar residential/community setting.
Strong understanding of person-centred active support.
Knowledge of SCHADS Award requirements and NDIS Practice Standards.

Responsibilities

Lead, supervise and empower Disability Support Workers across SIL homes and CA sites.
Ensure service delivery aligns with support, care, and behaviour plans.
Maintain up-to-date administration documents and support efficient rostering.
Foster strong relationships with participants, families, advocates and multidisciplinary teams.
Ensure compliance with legislative and organisational requirements (SCHADS Award, NDIS).
Oversee incident, complaint and feedback management with timely resolution.
Support onboarding, induction, performance reviews and staff training/development.
Collaborate with external providers and community partners to sustain service delivery.
