Job summary

ITEC Group Australia, Townsville-based, is seeking a Team Leader - Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Community Access (CA) to manage and deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You will supervise Disability Support Workers, coordinate care plans, onboarding, and staff development while ensuring compliance with SCHADS Award and NDIS Practice Standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum Certificate III in Disability Support or related field (essential).
• Experience in a similar role and managing a team in residential or community settings.
• Experience with participants with complex needs and behaviours of concern.
• Strong knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and SCHADS Award requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care within SIL homes or Community Access.
• Lead and supervise a team of Disability Support Workers.
• Oversee onboarding, induction, performance reviews and staff development.
• Build relationships with participants, families and partners.
• Ensure compliance with SCHADS Award and NDIS Practice Standards; participate in audits.
• Monitor incidents, complaints and feedback; ensure timely resolution.
• Assist with rostering and ensuring stable service delivery and occupancy.
