Southern Rural Water is seeking an experienced Team Leader Civil Maintenance and Operations to drive civil asset maintenance, inspections and water supply operations across the Macalister Irrigation District. Water Services Band D: $105,642 – $122,291 per annum plus 12% statutory superannuation.

About the Role
Southern Rural Water is seeking an experienced operational leader to join our team as the Team Leader Civil Maintenance and Operations (TLCMO) based in Maffra. If you have experience leading teams in an operational or maintenance environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!
The TLCMO will lead the delivery of Civil Asset Maintenance, Asset Inspections/Audits, and Water Supply Operations and Compliance across the Macalister Irrigation District. Working with limited supervision, you will provide direction to field based operational teams, oversee the delivery of civil asset maintenance and inspection activities, and work directly with customers and community groups to understand and resolve complex operational matters.
As the Team Lead, you will play a key role in fostering a collaborative and high performing team culture that values growth, accountability, and shared success. With a strong focus on delivering exceptional leadership and direction to field based operational teams, you will drive consistency, efficiency, and excellence to support effective service delivery and operational outcomes.
