Job summary

FCM is expanding our Canberra business and we need a new leader to head the front. You will lead a team of travel experts, supporting Government and corporate accounts, shaping performance and culture from the ground up.

The role requires 5+ years in travel, previous leadership, strong Sabre GDS experience, and a focus on KPI-driven performance, customer experience, and compliant operations. Canberra location, competitive OTE and career progression.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in travel industry (corporate or retail)
  • Previous leadership or senior Travel Consultant experience
  • Strong GDS expertise, ideally Sabre
  • Proven ability to manage complex itineraries and client relationships
  • Commercially minded with strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience working with KPIs and driving team performance

About The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing team of Travel Consultants
  • Build strong relationships with Government and corporate clients, driving retention and growth
