BaptistCare Bowden Lodge is seeking a values-driven Team Leader to support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men experiencing homelessness, disability, mental health challenges and other complex needs. This full-time role focuses on developing staff, building trusted community partnerships and delivering culturally safe, trauma-informed services.

• A tertiary qualification in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or a related field.
• Experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families, communities and community-controlled organisations.
• Experience leading teams within community services, homelessness, disability, mental health or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of culturally safe, trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with community stakeholders, Elders and service providers.
• Strong communication, leadership and people development skills.

As Team Leader at Bowden Lodge, you'll join us in a full-time leadership role supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men who may be experiencing homelessness, disability, mental health challenges and other complex needs. Working in a culturally safe and trauma-informed environment, you'll support and develop your team, build strong community partnerships, and help deliver meaningful outcomes for residents while shaping a service that makes a real difference every day.

About you:

You are a values-driven leader who is passionate about supporting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities. You bring strong leadership skills, cultural awareness and a collaborative approach, with the ability to build trusted relationships and support your team to deliver high-quality, culturally safe services.

You will also have the following skills and experience:

• A tertiary qualification in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing or a related field.
• Experience working alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals, families, communities and community-controlled organisations.
• Experience leading teams within community services, homelessness, disability, mental health or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of culturally safe, trauma-informed and person-centred practice.
• Ability to build strong partnerships with community stakeholders, Elders and service providers.
• Strong communication, leadership and people development skills.
