Job summary

DXC Technology Company is seeking a Team Manager to lead a 12-person workers' compensation payments team in Australia. You will oversee end-to-end processing of medical certificates, ensure timely and compliant payments, and drive a culture of quality and improvement.

You will manage performance, coach staff, and collaborate with Case Managers, Return to Work specialists, and finance colleagues to resolve payment queries. A strong focus on accuracy and regulation is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in workers' compensation, insurance, or claims environments.
• Understanding of payment processing for medical certificates and relevant legislation.
• Proven track record of driving team performance while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Strong organisational and time management skills to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 12, driving performance and a positive team culture.
• Oversee end-to-end payment processing for medical certificates from injured workers and employers.
• Ensure payments are accurate, timely and compliant with workers' compensation legislation and organisational policies.
• Monitor workloads, productivity and quality, addressing performance issues proactively.
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to maintain accuracy and compliance.
• Liaise with Case Managers, Return to Work specialists and finance teams to resolve payment queries.
• Stay across legislative and regulatory changes and communicate impacts to the team.
• Drive process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
• Report on team performance including processing volumes, accuracy and turnaround times.
