The University of Western Australia (UWA) is seeking a Team Leader for Teaching Operations to lead teaching administration across multiple Schools, improve service delivery, and guide a high-performing team. The role focuses on timetabling, examinations, unit support, and policy guidance within College Services.

Applicants should have a relevant qualification and extensive senior admin experience, with strong communication and organisational skills to manage priorities and deadlines in a complex

Qualifications

• Substantial senior administrative experience and competency at an appropriate level.
• Proven ability to respond to complex and diverse enquiries, interpreting policy to troubleshoot.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and consultation skills.
• Excellent organisational skills with ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate teaching administration services including timetabling, class allocation, examinations, and unit support across a portfolio of disciplines.
• Manage and develop a team of Teaching Operations staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and service excellence.
• Provide expert advice on policies, procedures, and teaching administration matters while driving initiatives and process improvements.
