Job summary

University of Tasmania is seeking a Learning & Teaching Coordinator to oversee the planning, delivery, and continuous improvement of learning and teaching programs across academic units. Based in Hobart or Launceston, you will provide expert advice and coordinate governance, quality assurance, and accreditation activities.

You will work with the Associate Heads of Learning and Teaching to ensure compliance with university policies, support curriculum governance, and enable efficient operations

Qualifications

• Relevant degree or postgraduate qualification with experience in tertiary education quality assurance.
• Experience with course and unit reviews, and higher education provider policies and rules.
• Ability to lead and support activities to improve learning and teaching quality in a dynamic environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-level advice and guidance on compliance, policy quality assurance and process improvement.
• Coordinate and oversee learning and teaching cycle activities including course reviews and accreditation.
• Review and manage administrative processes for academic quality assurance across learning and teaching.
• Provide executive support to Associate Heads of Learning and Teaching and coordinate L&T committees and governance.
• Analyze course and unit data using student results, curriculum, and records systems and prepare reports.
• Mentor and support other learning and teaching staff, promoting consistent practice.
