Job summary

NVITAFE is seeking a part-time Nurse Teacher to deliver high-quality nursing education across our campus network. Your clinical experience and passion for imparting knowledge will help a diverse cohort of students achieve success in healthcare.

You will hold a Nursing Diploma or Bachelor, and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122) or be willing to complete it. AHPRA registration is preferred but not essential, and we offer flexible, hybrid work arrangements.

Job description

The salary range for this position is L1.1 – L3.5 under the Victorian TAFE Teaching Staff Agreement 2024.

About the role

We have an exciting part-time opportunity for an experienced Nursing professional to join NVITAFE as a Teacher Nursing. As part of this role, you will deliver high-quality education outcomes for our diverse cohort of students. Your current clinical experience and passion for imparting knowledge on the next generation of healthcare professionals will be essential to ensure student success. The successful candidates will require a high standard of interpersonal skills, customer service and professionalism.

About you

You will bring:

  • Relevant Nursing Qualification/s (Diploma and/or Bachelor or above)
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment TAE40116 or TAE40122 (NVITAFE supports on the job completion)
  • Sound knowledge of current industry standards

Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse Division 1 preferred but not essential.
