Job summary

Holmesglen is seeking experienced Cable Jointers and Underground Distribution professionals to share their expertise and help train the next generation of ESI workers. You'll deliver practical on-campus training at Drummond Street Campus and assess apprentices under the teaching agreement.

The role covers underground power distribution networks, LV/HV cable jointing and terminations, installation, testing and commissioning, fault finding and network restoration, and enforcing safe work practices

Qualifications

• Teaching qualification or willingness to obtain (TAE) within a reasonable timeframe.
• Significant experience in the Electrical Supply Industry.
• Current industry licences/tickets and compliance with safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver practical on-campus training and assessments to apprentices.
• Mentor students, manage lesson delivery and maintain industry currency.

• Salary package: $175,238 to $180,000, inclusive of 12% superannuation
• Drummond Street Campus - onsite parking with close proximity to public transport

What you’ll need:

• Teaching qualification — Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) / TAE40116 / TAE40110
• Current industry licences/tickets
• Significant experience in the Electrical Supply Industry
• Experience as a Linesperson / High Voltage Operator / Live Line Worker
• WWCC and Police Check: Victorian 'employee' Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
