Holmesglen Institute is seeking experienced tradies from the Electrical Supply Industry Linework field to step into training in a modern, well-equipped environment. You’ll teach apprentices and industry workers in high voltage operations, switching, live line work and network safety procedures on the Drummond Street Campus with onsite parking.

Under our Teaching Agreement, you’ll enjoy hands-on delivery with apprentices and industry on campus, together with dedicated time for lesson preparation,

Qualificações

• Teaching qualification required: Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122/16/10).
• Current industry licences/tickets.
• Significant experience in the Electrical Supply Industry.
• Experience as a Linesperson / High Voltage Operator / Live Line Worker.
• WWCC and Police Check current within 12 months (Victorian Working with Children Check).

Responsabilidades

• Teach apprentices and industry workers in high voltage operations.

• Incorporate network safety procedures into training.
• Deliver hands-on delivery with apprentices and industry on campus, with time for lesson prep, assessment and student support.

• Full-Time | Ongoing contract of employment
• Salary package: $175,238 to $180,000, inclusive of 12% superannuation
• Drummond Street Campus – onsite parking with close proximity to public transport
• Flexibility under our teaching agreement

About the role:

We’re looking for experienced tradies from the Electrical Supply Industry Linework field ready to step into training in a modern, well-equipped environment.

You’ll teach apprentices and industry workers in:

• High voltage operations
• Switching
• Live line work
• Network safety procedures

What you’ll need:

• Teaching qualification — Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122) / TAE40116 / TAE40110
• Current industry licences/tickets
• Significant experience in the Electrical Supply Industry
• Experience as a Linesperson / High Voltage Operator / Live Line Worker
• WWCC and Police Check: Victorian ‘employee’ Working with Children Check, and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
