Job summary

Government schools in Victoria are seeking dedicated individuals to provide routine classroom support, assist with planning student routines, and help maintain a safe learning environment for pupils.

You will support communication between teachers and parents, assist with basic health and wellbeing tasks, and supervise small groups of up to four students in classroom activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to perform duties per established guidelines and coordinate others.

What you need

• Supervised health and wellbeing support tasks, medical intervention support tasks, or other specialised student/teacher support roles (e.g. enrolled nurses performing the role as described in schedule 3).
• SC1 Demonstrated capacity to perform duties consistent with established guidelines and frameworks, including coordinating and supporting others in respect to specific work functions relevant to the role.
• SC4 Possess the technical knowledge and expertise relevant to the position.
