Job summary

St Bernard's Catholic Primary School Botany NSW is seeking an experienced teacher to join our community. Start date 28 January 2027; full-time, permanent role within Sydney Catholic Schools.

You will deliver a student-centred K-6 curriculum in a Catholic learning environment, uphold high classroom-management standards, and collaborate with staff to support student wellbeing and faith formation. NESA accreditation and a tertiary education qualification are required, with willingness to pursue

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Education with NESA accreditation.
• Passion for Catholic education and student development.
• Willingness to obtain Religious Education qualifications per policy.
• Ability to develop the K-6 curriculum and apply effective pedagogy.

About You

As a Teacher, you will inspire students through engaging, student-centered teaching within a Catholic learning environment. You'll bring:

• expertise in developing a K-6 Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies
• strong classroom management and student well-being focus
• ability to create inclusive, rigorous learning experiences
• a tertiary qualification in Education and NESA accreditation
• Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead.
