Job summary

Corpus Christi Catholic High School is seeking a temporary full-time TAS teacher for a fixed period from 28 January 2027 to 26 January 2028. The role supports growth in faith and learning, with a focus on Stage 6 TAS.

The successful applicant will teach TAS, contribute to school-wide improvement, and engage with the wider school community. The position requires Catholic education alignment, PB4L-based classroom management, and current WWCC clearance.

A Co-educational Catholic High School serving the Southern Illawarra with an enrolment of approximately 1127 students.

Location: Corpus Christi Catholic High School, Oak Flats

A temporary full time position commencing 28 January 2027 (with an option to start earlier) until 26 January 2028. The successful applicant will be required to teach TAS. The role of Classroom Teacher exists to support growth in faith and improvement in learning so that students may reach their full potential.

ESSENTIAL SELECTION CRITERIA

• Demonstrate a deep understanding and commitment to the mission and purpose of the Catholic School within the broader Catholic Church.
• Create and maintain an orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment based on the principles of PB4L.
• Apply knowledge of the diverse needs of students to support their full participation in learning.
• Ability to plan for and implement effective teaching and learning in TAS.
• Use a range of assessment strategies and analyse data to inform student learning.
• Demonstrate commitment to engage professionally with colleagues, parents /carers and the wider school community.

DESIRABLE SELECTION CRITERIA

• Experience in teaching Stage 6 TAS

QUALIFICATIONS

• Appropriate qualifications for teaching nominated Key Learning Area (s).

• The applicant must be registered to teach with NESA.
