Job summary

Babies by the Bay is seeking an Early Childhood Educator/Teacher to lead a 62-place service in Cammeray. This leadership role focuses on mentoring staff and delivering high quality, inclusive learning experiences in a well-resourced centre.

The successful candidate will hold a Diploma/ECT qualification with current Working with Children Checks and First Aid (including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis) and complete Child Protection training.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ECT qualification required.
• Working with Children Check current.
• First Aid, including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certs current.
• Child Protection and Child Safety training completed.
• Knowledge of current Early Childhood theories and practice.
• Knowledge of the NQF and EYLF.

We are expanding our team and looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator/Teacher to lead and join our dynamic team located at Cammeray. This is a leadership position within a 62 place service, located in a beautiful Heritage House.

Key responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team, including the ability to effectively supervise team members

Deliver high quality and inclusive learning programs

Demonstrate knowledge and experience of current Early Childhood theories and practice

Apply knowledge of the NQF and EYLF

About you

Hold a diploma/ECT qualification

Current Working with Children Check
