Job summary

Babies by the Bay in Cammeray is seeking an Early Childhood Educator/Teacher in a leadership role to guide a 62-place service. You will lead a team, deliver inclusive learning programs, and apply current ECE theories and practices within a Heritage House setting.

The role requires a Diploma/ECT qualification, Working with Children Check, current First Aid (CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis), plus Child Protection training and a strong commitment to ongoing professional learning.

Qualifications

• Diploma/ECT qualification required.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid with CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis.
• Child Protection and Child Safety training completed.
• Knowledge of Early Childhood theories and practice.
• Knowledge of the NQF and EYLF.

We are expanding our team and looking for a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Educator/Teacher to lead and join our dynamic team located at Cammeray. This is a leadership position within a 62 place service, located in a beautiful Heritage House.

Key responsibilities

Lead and mentor a team, including the ability to effectively supervise team members

Deliver high quality and inclusive learning programs

Demonstrate knowledge and experience of current Early Childhood theories and practice

Apply knowledge of the NQF and EYLF

About you

Hold a diploma/ECT qualification

Current Working with Children Check

Current First Aid, including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification

Completed approved Child Protection and Child Safety training

Demonstrated knowledge and experience of current Early Childhood theories and practice

Demonstrated knowledge of the NQF and EYLF

Experience delivering high quality and inclusive learning programs
