Job summary

Sydney Trains is seeking a skilled Rail Maintainer to join an experienced team dedicated to repairing the Tangara fleet at the Flemington Maintenance Centre or Auburn Maintenance Centre in Sydney.

You will inspect, service, overhaul and repair systems and components, report to Maintenance Shift Managers, and work with Rail Maintainers and Engineering support staff to keep the Tangara fleet reliable.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent fault-finding and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, overhaul, and repair systems, equipment, and components on our Tangara Fleet.
• Report directly to the Maintenance Shift Managers and Team Leaders, collaborating with a team of Rail Maintainers and Engineering support staff.
