Job summary

Kogan People Solutions is recruiting a Cook for Noble Park, Victoria. The role is full-time and ongoing, with duties covering tandoor meats, breads, curries and high standards of food preparation.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV, at least 3 years of relevant experience, and availability across evenings and weekends. HACCP compliance and team training are part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV or equivalent required.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience since earning qualifications.
• Availability across the working week, including evenings and weekends.
• Ability to prioritise and meet goals.
• Strong understanding of food safety and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Prepare high-standard meals, including tandoor-cooked meats, breads and curries.
• Prepare marinades, spice blends, gravies and sauces per recipes and standards.
• Ensure HACCP compliance and maintain safety logs, temperature checks and hygiene protocols.
• Portion and plate food according to policy and standards.
• Store food hygienically and assist with stock rotation and ordering.
• Train kitchen staff and apprentices as required.
