Job summary

Queanbeyan-Palerang Regional Council is seeking a proactive Recruitment Officer to lead end-to-end recruitment, selection and onboarding for specialised and hard-to-fill roles.

You will partner with hiring managers, manage labour hire and onboarding programs, maintain recruitment systems, and ensure accurate records while contributing to a positive workplace culture and staff development within the People and Culture team.

Qualifications

• Experience in recruitment and talent acquisition.
• Proficient with e-recruitment systems, ATS, HRMIS and MS Office.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills; knowledge of merit-based selection and employment legislation.

Responsibilities

• Organise end-to-end recruitment, selection and onboarding for specialised roles.
• Partner with hiring managers to deliver merit-based recruitment and manage labour hire.
• Coordinate onboarding, probation tracking and maintain recruitment records.
