Job description

Over 30 years, Jumbo Interactive Limited (JIN) has grown from a single computer-operated business to a global, ASX-listed digital lottery technology business operating across Australia, the UK, Canada, and the USA. We partner with thousands of good causes worldwide and have helped raise over $290 million in FY26 alone.

We build the platforms and products that power lottery and not-for-profit fundraising at scale. Our business brings together Lottery Retailing, Business-to-Consumer lottery products, Lottery Solutions and Managed Services, operating across multiple markets and regulatory environments.

As we continue to grow internationally, the Talent Acquisition Manager owns how we hire across the Group. You'll run recruitment end-to-end in Australia, partner with our business leaders in the UK, Canada and the US on senior and business-critical hires, and continue to shape how Jumbo attracts talent. This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with real autonomy.

What will you be doing?

Reporting to the Chief People Officer and sitting within the People & Culture team, you'll be the person who makes hiring happen across the JIN Group.

This is a roll-up-your-sleeves role. You'll do the work yourself: brief hiring managers, source directly, run interviews, close offers, and keep candidates well looked after. In Australia, you'll provide end-to-end recruitment. Across the UK, Canada and the US, you'll partner with business unit leads to hire the senior and business-critical roles that shape those businesses.

You'll also own the Group's Talent Acquisition framework and systems. With the support of the Chief People Officer, you'll set the tone and direction for how we recruit across every market, from process and tools to reporting and agency spend. Right now, that includes leading an open project to review Jumbo's employer brand.

You'll work in a modern tech stack that includes Teamtailor (ATS), the full Metaview platform, LinkedIn Recruiter and Hiring Assistant, Checkmate (pre‑employment checks), and HiBob (HRIS), along with your choice of AI tool, such as Claude or ChatGPT.

Because you'll work with teams across four countries, some weeks will call for early mornings or later evenings. You'll need to be comfortable flexing your working hours to suit different time zones.

Your Key Accountabilities
  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across Australia, from briefing, sourcing and screening through to interviews, offers and onboarding coordination

  • Partner with business unit leads in the UK, Canada and the US to hire senior and business‑critical roles

  • Support the Chief People Officer and CEO on Board, Executive Leadership Team and other strategically significant appointments, including search coordination, market mapping and candidate management

  • Source candidates directly through LinkedIn, talent pools, referrals and other channels, especially for priority and hard‑to‑fill roles

  • Own the Group TA framework, including the ATS and related recruitment systems, and continuously improve how we hire

  • Lead our current employer brand project, and drive job advertising, careers pages, LinkedIn content and attraction initiatives with Marketing and Corporate Comms

  • Deliver a consistently strong candidate experience through responsive communication and efficient processes

  • Manage recruitment agencies and external suppliers, including briefing, performance and spend control

  • Report regularly on vacancies, time to hire, cost per hire and source effectiveness, and turn the data into practical recommendations

  • Coach hiring managers on interviewing and selection decisions

  • Make sure recruitment complies with policy, process and legislative requirements in each market

What You'll Be Able to Bring to the Role
  • At least five years' experience in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment, including a proven track record in an internal TA management role

  • Hands‑on experience delivering end-to-end recruitment across diverse functions, including technical and corporate roles

  • Experience sourcing and closing senior or executive hires, including market mapping and talent pooling

  • Confidence to work autonomously, make decisions and take ownership of outcomes without a team around you

  • Strong stakeholder skills, with the credibility to influence and partner with leaders at all levels and across different markets

  • Experience owning ATS platforms, recruitment systems and budgets, and improving processes

  • Commercial acumen, including agency management and cost‑effective hiring

  • The ability to interpret recruitment data and turn it into actionable insight

  • A strong understanding of recruitment compliance, candidate care and best practice hiring

  • Flexibility to work across time zones as the week requires

  • Highly regarded: experience in multi‑region or high‑growth organisations, and in employer brand projects

Salary Banding: $150K to $170K plus superannuation depending on experience.

Our Ways of Working

At Jumbo, we value balance and flexibility. Working out of our Head Office in Milton, Brisbane, our hybrid working model combines in‑office collaboration (three days per week) with working from home (two days per week). We also offer flexible working hours, with core collaboration times from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Why Join Jumbo?

This is an opportunity to own Talent Acquisition for an established ASX‑listed business that operates across four countries. You'll have the autonomy to shape how we hire, the backing of the Chief People Officer, and a direct line to the leaders whose teams you're building.

The breadth of the role, spanning hands‑on delivery, senior international hiring, TA systems and employer brand, means your work will be visible across the Group. What you build here will set the standard for how Jumbo attracts talent.

Alongside that remit, Jumbo connects technology and commercial success with fundraising for good causes around the world.

Working at Jumbo comes with some genuine perks. Here’s what you can expect:
  • A short‑term incentive program that rewards your contributions, dependent on the company's performance

  • Access to our Employee Assistance Program, providing counselling and coaching

  • Award‑winning talent management programs for career growth and skill building

  • Novated Leasing through the Origin 360 EV Program

  • Generous parental leave after 12 months of service: 20 weeks paid for primary carers and 4 flexible weeks for partners

Candidates who are offered a position will be required to complete pre‑employment checks through our partner, Checkmate. You must have full unrestricted Australian working rights.
