Job summary

Talent Corp is seeking two Systems Support Engineers in Australia (one in Victoria and one in New South Wales) to provide hands-on technical and infrastructure support across major hotel environments (Sofitel, Novotel, ibis).

The role requires strong Level 2 support experience, excellent communication, and practical knowledge of VMware and Active Directory in Windows environments.

Qualifications

• At least three years in Level 2 IT support, systems administration or infrastructure support.
• Hands-on VMware experience.
• Strong Active Directory and Windows administration skills.
• Experience supporting Windows Server and desktop environments.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, switching and firewalls.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.
• Fluent verbal and written communication.
• Confidence supporting technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 technical support across Windows desktop and server environments.
• Administer Active Directory users, groups, permissions and Group Policy.
• Support and maintain VMware virtualised environments.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, network and infrastructure issues.
• Maintain servers, workstations, switches, firewalls and related equipment.
• Monitor backups, system logs, antivirus protection and security patching.
• Assist with network upgrades, ISP migrations, VLANs and switch configuration.
• Liaise with hotel teams, vendors and service providers.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation, asset registers and support records.
• Follow ITIL, change management and IT governance processes.

Salary: Up to $95,000-$100,000 + super, depending on experience
Employment: Permanent, full-time

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Experience in hospitality, managed services or another multi-site environment will be highly regarded. Microsoft, VMware, ITIL or CCNA certifications would be beneficial.
