Job summary

The Boeing Company in Brisbane is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Wakulda Program. You will contribute to the design, integration and verification of complex capabilities, working with a multidisciplinary team.

Applicants should have a track record in complex technical development, strong systems engineering fundamentals and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders; Australian citizenship and security considerations apply.

Qualifications

• Approx 2 years' experience in complex technical development and integration projects.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management, includingMandated System Reviews.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience in complex systems of system test, integration and verification planning and execution.
• Experience with Change Management processes and artefacts.
• Experience in aerospace/defence projects and NV1 Clearance.
• Experience in ASDEFCON contract environments is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements and interfaces.
• Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and architecture.
• Analyzes for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, and security.
• Supports requirements management processes, risk, issues and technology readiness assessments.
• Tests and validates designs to meet requirements.
• Interfaces with stakeholders to communicate engineering status and needs.
• Ensures engineering scope is Developed, Verified and Delivered on time and budget.
• Identifies and mitigates technical and project risks related to capability delivery.
