Job summary

Boeing Defence Australia is seeking a Systems Integration, Verification and Validation Engineer to support the Wakulda Program. You will work in a multidisciplinary team to manage tasks from proposal through to integration on the platform, contributing to system engineering development and delivery.

Key requirements include ~2 years in complex systems development, SE lifecycle understanding, strong communication, and NV1 clearance.

Qualifications

• Approximately 2 years' experience in complex technical development and integration projects.
• Understanding of Systems Engineering principles and lifecycle management.
• Experience in aerospace and/or defence projects with NV1 clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements and ensure compatibility of interfaces.
• Performs analyses to optimize system architecture and total system of systems.
• Assesses affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability and regulatory factors in configurations.
• Supports requirements management, risk, issues, opportunity management and TRL assessments.
• Tests and validates designs to meet operational and functional requirements.
• Interfaces with stakeholders to communicate status and ensure engineering deliverables meet scope and constraints.
• Works to Developed, Verified and Delivered within quality, schedule and budget.
